The theme this year is "Pirates of the Caribbean"

So the usual Milk Carton Race Rules will apply but lets get in to the Pirating way, to experience Jack Spratt’s epic adventures.
This year is on the 5th & 6th March 2010. Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Districts, challenge all other districts to compete in this prestigious event.
 
 
Races start 12.30pm Saturday Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers
Boat inspection and late entries 9.00am Saturday

Sunday – Survivors Race - Flour Bombs - two divisions-
1/Cubs and small Scouts 
2/Big Scouts,Venturers and Rovers

Cost is $4.00 and includes a badge for each person entered. Cheques made out to 1st Merewether Scout Group and send to

Limited badges available, 1st in basis with money
BYO camping gear, food and milk carton boat.

Everyone camps individually, under their own group flag, but need to supply a duty patrol to assist with toilet and shower cleaning.
